## Monthly report

### Why is it necessary to process your monthly salary?

In the monthly report, you can view your salary for the upcoming month. You will also see all the hours you worked during the previous month and any factors that may affect your salary, such as benefits, salary adjustments, etc. When you preview your salary, you can check that everything is correct. For example, has your new entitlement to annual leave been added? Is your salary increase properly recorded? This way, you can also keep track of what will end up on your payslip next month.

## Salary report procedures for hourly and monthly paid employees

### What do you need to do in your salary report?

- Preview your payslip

- Lock!

Click to enter the salary report in the left-hand column. You will then see the supporting data or documents related to your monthly salary. Here, you can preview your salary to check any benefits, as well as ensure that your reported working hours and absences, as shown in the timesheet report, are correct.

It is a good idea for the company to have procedures in place regarding when the salaries should be locked by you as employees. You can ask your line manager which date applies to you. That way, you can set a reminder each month to preview and approve your salary.

As an hourly-paid employee, you are always paid one month after your worked hours. This is because you cannot know how much you will actually work during the month until it has passed.

**If you have a company car the following is also reported directly in the salary report:**

### Fuel benefits

Do you drive private mileage with fuel paid for by your employer? In that case, you must be taxed on the fuel benefit. If you are required to report a fuel benefit, a box for this will appear in the salary report.

### Congestion tax

The principle is the same as for fuel benefits in kind. If the company pays the congestion charge for private journeys, you will also be taxed on this benefit, or you may need to cover the cost yourself. This depends on how your company handles the situation and the supporting documents required. Calculations can be included directly in the salary report.
