Salary mapping: FAQ
Below you find common questions that may come up in relation to the Salary mapping product
What is included in the service?
Access to the statistics in the Salary mapping product. We do not offer advice.
Who sees the icon for salary mapping and its content?
Users who have permission to administer and/or read salaries.
Are there limitations with salary mapping?
Hourly salaries and secret salaries are not shown at present.
The general criteria for a user to appear in the salary mapping are the following:
- The employee has a monthly salary greater than 0.
- The employee has the setting âactiveâ in Kleer
- The employee does not have an end date that has passed
Why donât I see all the employees in the company?
Employees who start after the implementation of salary mapping will appear automatically, but you need to state organisation unit and position. Otherwise it may be one of the criteria above.
Within variable parts, why does gross salary adjustment give unreasonable figures?
The payroll item Gross salary adjustment is sometimes used as a catch-all. Anything can end up here, and we have no control over how customers use this payroll item. As a result it can run away and show unreasonable figures on a salary.
How do I make changes to positions, organisation units or variable parts?
In settings, under âManage positionâ, âManage organisation unitâ and âManage variable partsâ, you can change and add positions and organisation units. Variable parts can be activated or deactivated and are shown in Deviating parts.
How is Community Benchmark affected by variable parts?
The statistics reflect average salaries for all Kleer customers. The variable parts that are activated affect the statistics. That is, if you activate the payroll item âBonusâ, for example, this variable part will be activated for all other companies in Community Benchmark too.
Are the statistics in salary mapping updated continuously?
All statistics are dynamic and fetch values that are set in the employment contract and that are booked in various payroll items. Above all it is the field âmonthly salaryâ that is essential for the salary mapping.
