Swedbank in Kleer
What the Swedbank integration does in Kleer: the agreements for supplier payments and salaries, how payments are sent and approved, and how transactions and balances come in.
If your company is a customer of Swedbank or a savings bank (sparbank), the bank accounts are connected to Kleer through an ISO20022 integration. Through it, Kleer sends payments to the bank, and the bank sends back transactions, balances and messages about what has happened to the payments. How the connection is set up is described in Swedbank: bank connection.
Two agreements, one for supplier payments and one for salaries
At Swedbank, supplier payments and salaries are two different agreements:
- Supplier payments go through the ISO agreement. That is enough for supplier invoices.
- Salaries and expenses also require Utbetalningar Företag (Swedbankâs payout service for companies). Kleer needs the agreement number for it before salaries can be paid out through the integration.
If you only need one of them, only that one is connected. How you sign the salary part is described in Swedbank ISO Payroll.
Pay from Kleer
With the integration in place, you pay supplier invoices, salaries and expenses directly in Kleer, without creating them in the internet bank. The integration only handles payments from the companyâs Swedish accounts. The payment is sent to Swedbank with a margin before the payment date:
| Payment | Sent to Swedbank |
|---|---|
| Supplier invoices | One banking day before the payment date |
| Salaries and expenses | Five banking days before the payment date |
If the payment is created later than that, it is sent immediately. How you follow and cancel the payments is described in Send supplier payments.
Approve the payments
When the agreement is set up, you choose whether payments are to be signed only in Kleer, or also in the internet bank. Tell the bank what you want. If you sign only in Kleer, whoever approves payments logs in with BankID.
Transactions and balances
Every night Swedbank sends an account statement with the previous banking dayâs transactions and the accountâs opening and closing balance. The salary payouts are reported in a separate file. The transactions end up on the bank account in Kleer and are reconciled against the bookkeeping. What cannot be matched automatically is handled as described in Unhandled bank transactions.
The reporting back is per account. It is not possible to get it per bankgiro number.
More about what ISO20022 is and which files are sent between Kleer and the bank is described in Swedbank ISO.
