Monthly report - for you with time reporting

Why should you handle your monthly salary?

For you with time reporting

Why do you need to handle your monthly salary?

In the monthly report you approve your salary for the coming month. Here you see all the time you reported in the previous month, and any factors that affect your salary, such as benefits, salary adjustments and so on. When you preview the salary you can make sure everything is right. Has your new vacation entitlement been added? Or is your salary increase registered? You then also know what will end up in your account next month.

Monthly report routine: hourly pay and monthly salary

What do you need to do in your salary report?

  • Preview your payslip
  • Lock

Click into the monthly report in the left-hand column. You then get the basis for your monthly salary. Here you can preview your salary to see any benefits and so on, and check that your reported time and absence from the time report are correct.

It is good if the company has routines for when salaries are to be locked by you as employees. Ask the people responsible at the company which date applies to you, and you can then set a reminder every month to preview and lock your salary.

As an hourly paid employee you are always paid one month after your worked time. This is because you cannot know how much you will work during the month until it has passed.

If you have a company car, the following is also reported directly in the salary report:

Fuel benefit

Do you drive private mileage with fuel that your employer has paid for? Then you are taxed on the fuel as a benefit. If you are entitled to report a fuel benefit, a box for this appears in the monthly report. You report the fuel benefit in arrears. For example, the April salary includes the fuel for March.

Congestion tax

The principle is the same as for the fuel benefit. If the company pays congestion tax for private passages, you are also taxed on this as a benefit, or even have to bear the cost yourself. It depends on how your company handles this and which supporting documents it requires. Check with your line manager how to handle it. Calculations can be attached directly in the monthly report.
