Monthly report - for employees without timesheet reporting

For employees without timesheet reporting

Monthly report

Why it is necessary for you to process your monthly salary?

In the monthly report you handle your absence from work. This affects your salary and thereby needs to be completed every month. You can also preview your payslip in order to ensure that everything is correct. By previewing and locking the report you get an indication of what will be included for next months salary. Read more below.

Procedures regardless of type of employment

It is a good idea if the company has procedures for when the salaries shall be approved by you as employees. Ask your line manager whether you have such a date; that way you can set a reminder each month for when you process absences or working hours and preview your salary!

Monthly report procedures – Monthly paid

What do you need to do in your salary report?

  • Report absences

  • Preview your payslip

  • Lock!

Click to enter the monthly report in the left-hand menu. The monthly report is the basis for your monthly salary. Here, you can preview your payslip, view benefits, and report any absences from work. If you are scheduled to be off work in the future, you can report this at any time before the absence begins by simply clicking through to the appropriate month and day in the calendar.

Monthly report procedures – Hourly paid

What do you need to do in your salary report?

  • Report hours worked

  • Preview your payslip

  • Approve!

If you are paid by the hour, you only report the hours you have worked and not any absences from work. Click on the day you worked, enter the number of hours, and then save. If you work the same number of hours on multiple days within a period, you can “drag and drop” over several upcoming days, and the information will be copied there.

As an hourly-paid employee, you are always paid one month after the time you worked. This is because you cannot know how many hours you will actually work during the month until it has passed.

If you have a company car the following is also reported directly in the salary report:

Fuel benefits

Do you drive private mileage with fuel paid for by your employer? In that case, you must be taxed on the fuel benefit. If you are required to report a fuel benefit, a box for this will appear in the salary report.

Congestion tax

The principle is the same as for fuel benefits in kind. If the company pays the congestion charge for private journeys, you will also be taxed on this benefit, or you may need to cover the cost yourself. This depends on how your company handles the situation and the supporting documents required. Calculations can be included directly in the salary report.
