The employment contract: Notes
How can I use the Notes function?
Document more!
Use the notes function in Kleer to keep track of adjustments that have been made, contract changes or similar!
How to do it
Open the employeeâs employment contract and click the Notes tab. Write in the text box, then save the contract as usual with Save at the bottom of the page. The note is saved together with the rest of the contract, so there is no separate save button for the note.
On the same tab you can also attach files. The list shows the file name, size, who uploaded the file and when.
Why make notes in Kleer?
The function is for things that have no field of their own in the employment contract, for example a change of position or a special agreement that applied during a certain period.
You do not need to note changes of start and end dates, though. Kleer logs them automatically under History on the contract, together with, among other things, changed monthly salary, hourly salary, vacation entitlement, tax table and schedule.
Keep in mind! The note is a single free-text field, not a log with dated entries. The next person who writes there replaces what was there before. If you want to follow a chain of events over time, you have to date the lines in the text yourself.
